This position offers the chance to work on stimulating projects while soaking in the laid-back atmosphere of Whangarei. Key Responsibilities: * Cultivate strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to drive engagement and growth for the Infrastructure Delivery Team and the wider organization. * Provide innovative solutions to overcome job-specific challenges, offering practical advice and guidance. * Ensure the technical and quality requirements of work are consistently met and maintained. * Keep meticulous records of all work and communications. * Foster positive relationships with clients, sub-consultants, and contractors. * Work towards and maintain appropriate professional memberships. What You Bring: * A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Project Manager in civil and infrastructure projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. * Experience in areas such as roading, civil infrastructure, urban development, rail, and general civil works is highly advantageous. * Strong familiarity with the New Zealand construction management environment and knowledge of NZS3910 or NZS3916 standards. * Experience in roles such as Engineer to Contract or Engineers Representative. * A tertiary degree in civil engineering or construction management, along with relevant training in project management and NZTA accreditation. * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build strong professional relationships. * Highly organized with an acute attention to detail, while also keeping focus on the bigger picture. * A team player who values collaboration and contributes positively to the work environment.
