Role Description

The growth of our business means we are seeking successful end to end Business Development Managers located in Auckland, or Christchurch. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including identifying and prospecting new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing sales strategies, conducting market research, and achieving sales targets. You will be a trusted and integral team member, reporting directly to the Regional Manager, responsible for researching new business opportunities and finding new clients, leveraging the company reputation and your own industry contacts to best effect.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate new business opportunities through targeted prospecting and networking efforts.
• Cold calling to build our presence and bring in sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and satisfaction.
• Meet and exceed sales targets by consistently delivering results.
• Ensuring accurate and timely input into our CRM, SalesForce.

The Ideal Candidate

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptable to the environment, resilient and with a passion for their job
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Full rights to live and work in New Zealand
