Casual Team Member

The Warehouse Group looks after some of Aotearoa’s most famous and beloved retail brands, including The Warehouse, Warehouse Stationery, Noel Leeming, and TheMarket. They stay famous and beloved because we’re always working to deliver relevant and exciting customer experiences to New Zealanders, including a growing number of public good and sustainability initiatives.

Since 1991, Warehouse Stationery has been innovating in the stationery-retail business and that remains true today. As a brand, we are constantly looking for new ways to deliver better service to our customers – on and off line.

Job Description

We are currently seeking customer-focused individuals with a positive attitude and strong work ethic to join our team as casual team members. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for interacting with customers and working across various departments.

Our casual team members get involved in all areas of the store, so each day will be different. This role offers loads of variety, customer interaction, and opportunities to learn and progress. We are looking for team players who possess a great attitude and are proactive in assisting customers with product queries and service.

Please note this is a casual position with no set weekly hours.

Qualifications

Ideally, you will have the following:

• Some experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing role (preferable but not essential)
• Excellent communication skills
• A positive, can-do attitude
• The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• An eye for detail
