About Hilton Auckland

Our nautically-inspired hotel sits on the end of Princes Wharf, home to a wide variety of fine shops, restaurants, and bars. 

We are looking for Bartenders to become part of our professional and hard-working teams, including our FISH Restaurant, Bellini Bar and Banquets departments.

What will I be doing?

Our Bartenders are responsible for creating drinks and upholding the highest quality standards for the food and beverage operations. To successfully fill this role, you will have:

• Creating drinks and preparing and serving a wide range of non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, pouring drinks, and ensuring that are served promptly
• Providing exceptional customer service by being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure an adequate supply of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other bar essentials
• Taking guest orders and cash handling
• Assist the team on the floor when necessary

What are we looking for?

The successful candidate for this role will bring:

• Friendly, positive, energetic commitment to delivering exceptional guest service
• Fulltime and flexible availability and reliable - able to do at least 2-3 closing shifts per week
• Motivation to learn new skills and techniques
• Good communication in English 
• Flexible availability and reliable - able to do at least 2-3 closing shifts per week

It will be beneficial if you maintain the following:

• Completed a bar tendering course
• In possession of LCQ or managers certificate
