About the Role

We are looking for a Commercial Door Technician to join our team of experts installing our product in commercial properties across the Canterbury region. In this role, your day-to-day will involve:

• Installation of new doors or provide repair services to commercial garage doors and automatic openers
• Job scheduling of Installation, repairs, and maintenance and responding to after-hour repairs
• Ensuring sufficient supplies, materials, and parts are maintained in the vehicle
• Provide exceptional customer service by way of on-site communication with customers on job status via the job management system
• Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, legislation, and procedures, including health and safety

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a similar position is preferred, where you had to plan your work and manage your time for installing or repairing
• Proficiency in using hand tools with a solid mechanical aptitude for on-site fault finding with a ‘can do attitude’
• A Full New Zealand driver's license and good physical fitness to work with commercial doors are both essential for the role
• Like the Dominator brand, we are seeking someone with customer service experience who strives to deliver reliable, high-quality installation and repair
