Job Description - Contact Center Assistant - Remote Work

As a Contact Center Assistant at Cognizant Technology Solutions, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to clients through various communication channels. This is a remote work position based in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ, with the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.


Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. 3. Manage and maintain customer records and data accurately. 4. Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience. 5. Follow company guidelines and procedures to provide consistent service to all customers. 6. Meet and exceed performance goals and metrics set by the company. 7. Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction. 8. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.


Requirements: 1. High school diploma or equivalent. 2. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 4. Proficiency in computer applications and customer service software. 5. Excellent organizational and time management skills. 6. Hardworking and confident personality traits. 7. Emotional intelligence and project management skills. 8. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
