Job Description - Contact Center Assistant - Remote Work

Job Description:


Tenneco is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Contact Center Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote work position based in Wellington, New Zealand. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in a similar role and possess the necessary skills to excel in a fast-paced contact center environment.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service via phone, email, and chat. 2. Assist customers with product information, order status, and issue resolution. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. 4. Maintain customer records and ensure data accuracy in the CRM system. 5. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless communication and workflow. 6. Monitor and respond to customer reviews and feedback on various platforms. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to team initiatives. 9. Adhere to company policies and procedures to maintain a high level of professionalism.


Requirements: 1. Resourceful and passionate about providing excellent customer service. 2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 3. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. 4. Strong persuasion skills to handle difficult customer situations. 5. Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. 6. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding performance targets. 7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 8. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred.
