Job Description - Customer Care Associate - Remote Work

Job Description: Ameren, a leading energy company, is seeking a motivated and reliable Customer Care Associate to join our remote team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home while providing exceptional customer service to our valued clients.


Responsibilities: - Handle incoming customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat in a timely and professional manner - Assist customers with account inquiries, billing questions, and service requests - Proactively identify and address customer needs to ensure a positive experience - Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team members for resolution - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay up-to-date on company products and services to better assist customers - Collaborate with colleagues worldwide to enhance the overall customer experience


Requirements: - 1 year of customer service experience preferred - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively - Must be self-motivated and reliable - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications - High school diploma or equivalent required
