Job Description - Customer Service Team Member

We are looking for someone to join our team and walk the talk of providing excellent customer service to our customers at The Warehouse Sylvia Park Store for a Maternity Leave Cover

Job Description



Hours of work: 

Available Shift Details

  • Friday 08.00am - 04.00pm
  • Saturday 08.00am - 04.00pm

This Customer Service role differs to most is that we utilise the latest live, online chat technology to support our customers as well as traditional phone and e-mail support. Where you will be handling a variety of incoming customer enquiries across our Warehouse and Warehouse stationary online stores.

As a Customer Service Team Member your key responsibilities will be:

  • Managing customer enquiries with a strong resolution focus.
  • Adapting from phone to email when required.
  • Running efficient case management and follow-up within agreed timeframes.
  • Keep up to date with processes, procedures and products to ensure accurate information is provided.

This is a fixed-term position from the 26th of April 2024 to the 6th of March 2025 

Qualifications



Be able to really ‘Own It’ and be reliable and responsible while being a team member who can work independently.

Be able to ‘Think Customer’ by having experience in providing exceptional customer service, whether this be in a contact centre, retail, or hospitality (to name a few!).

‘Do Good’ by having high attention to detail and maintaining a high level of service while working under time constraints.

To succeed and feel at home, the successful candidate will have:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – a clear, calm, well-spoken phone manner and ability to listen.
  • With your naturally empathetic and resilient nature, you’ll be able to stay positive even when the pressure may be on.
  • Computer literate with a strong eye for detail.
  • Confident to communicate via written communications. 
  • adaptable and of course passionate about our customers!

Ideally, we would love for you to start as soon as possible!
