Job Description - Customer Support Associate - Remote Work

Job Description:


FirstEnergy is seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Customer Support Associate for remote work in Nelson, NZ. As an Associate Level professional with at least 3 years of experience in customer support, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat in a professional and timely manner. 2. Assist customers with product information, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. 3. Process customer orders, returns, and exchanges accurately. 4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and improve overall customer experience. 5. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 6. Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. 7. Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers. 8. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to customer satisfaction and resolution time.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 2. Proven experience in customer support roles, preferably in a remote work environment. 3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 5. Proficiency in using customer support software and tools. 6. Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. 7. Demonstrated innovation and project management skills. 8. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle high-pressure situations effectively. 9. Must be self-motivated and proactive in addressing customer needs.
