About the opportunity

Work from anywhere in New Zealand  - fully remote or hybrid options available.

• J oin a team of 5 high performing Engineers on a mission to provide support for our products by aiming for high reliability and applying the best Engineering practices.
• Your day-to-day work will involve investigating incidents in production to prevent them coming up again, updating infrastructure to improve resilience, reliability and availability . You would also be helping other teams with activities such as CI/CD, monitoring and alerting. 
• You will be working on one of the largest cloud platforms in New Zealand with  300 million users in 60 markets globally!
• The tech stack:  Azure DevOps, AWS, PowerShell, Python, New Relic, Docker, Kubernetes.
  
• Collaborating with teams across all of our domains, you will  be part of large scale global projects helping big brands   deliver customized offers and product recommendations for their customers. 
  
• We redefine the customer experience for large clients like McDonald's  and drive results through  personalized mobile marketing  and next-generation loyalty programs.

What are we looking for?

• Passion for adopting DevOps principles and championing continuous improvement.
  
• Hand on prior experience with automation and automated provision.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g. PowerShell, Python, Perl or Ansible).
• Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using ARM Template, Biceps or Terraform or similar technology.
• Understanding of networking and network security.
• A collaborative and proactive approach .
