Job Description - Events Manager ANZ

As Event Manager you will be a highly passionate team member with a keen eye for detail. The Event Manager’s purpose is to produce premium events from conception through to completion for our markets including Australia and New Zealand.

At ArchiPro, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and experiences so you will need to ensure you are extremely well organised and sophisticated at delivering events that are memorable and exceed our audience’s expectations, while bringing the ArchiPro brand to life in a big way.

Our events programme varies from regular networking events throughout cities hosting 100 people in a relaxed atmosphere, to bringing to life our hero events where we host up to 2000 guests in a formal capacity.

We have crushed New Zealand, we are disrupting Australia and now, we are gearing up to launch in California, and soon, we will be the default residential building platform globally. This is an exciting time to join the business and help us scale our events globally!

Key Responsibilites:

  • Drive and manage every aspect of the event planning, operational, brand, and client requirements for our events programme with the support of our Marketing and Sales team.
  • Manage events budgets and deadlines with efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and facilitate logistics for the event, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation and speaker materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, equipment and event decor.
  • Source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers on all elements of the event - being mindful of the premium, sophisticated brand standard that ArchiPro holds.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of our varying audiences across homeowners, product suppliers and industry professionals in the Architect & Design and Construction industry.
  • Manage guest lists and RSVP processes with the support of the Marketing and Sales teams.
  • Keep informed on how the use of technology and products can enhance ArchiPro events experiences and reduce friction in the areas of registrations, attendance and lead capture.
  • Develop opportunities for strategic event partnership sponsorship that aligns with ArchiPro and our brand while enhancing the experience for our guests.
  • Work with Marketing team stakeholders to ensure communications requirements and advertising of the event is implemented on time, effectively and to budget.
  • Post event, deliver client and consumer feedback loops to ensure we gauge sentiment and learnings for future events.
  • Present to internal stakeholders the post-campaign report and recommendations for the next event.
  • Explore new event opportunities that will bring value to clients and grow the ArchiPro business.
  • Required to travel to events across New Zealand and Australia regularly.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years corporate event experience
  • A minimum of 5 years project management skills
  • Strong understanding of marketing, brand and communications
  • Highly personable and confident
  • Highly relational and relationship driven
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong people management skills
