Summary
The Growth Specialist role is a digital marketing specialist position and works as a key member of Serato's Growth & E-Commerce team, developing and driving key growth initiatives for Serato in partnership with the Head of Growth & E-Commerce and the Growth Marketer on the team. This role provides key support to the E-Commerce function to realise growth targets through acquiring and retaining users across digital marketing channels. It involves supporting on initiatives to drive a strong pipeline of prospects to Serato.com and then ensuring those users can find or are served up the content that they need in relevant channels, so that they are successfully onboarded, engaged and retained as customers and advocates for the product. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the Growth team on initiatives to optimise all channels in their campaign and always-on activity, including Email, In-app, Paid Media, Website and SEO.
  • With oversight from the Head of Growth & E-Commerce, and in partnership with key stakeholders, design and implement Serato's customer engagement approach, including email and in-app messaging.
  • Manage Serato's marketing automation platforms, in collaboration with Web, Product and Data teams.
  • Collaborate on projects with Product Marketing, UX, Product and Web to onboard, engage and retain users.
  • Provide assistance to the Growth team in a/b experiments to improve KPIs and drive learnings for the business. 
  • Provide operational support to Growth Marketer and Head of Growth & E-Commerce on Serato's advertising campaigns, by working alongside the Growth, Marketing, UX and Product teams and external agencies to implement Serato's paid search, SEO and content strategies.
  • Report on campaign and initiative effectiveness. Work with the Data team to ensure marketing campaign activity is tracked effectively.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Proven Digital Marketing Coordinator/Specialist/Lead (or comparable) experience.
  • Practical experience and high level of proficiency with email marketing and automation, including experience in marketing automation or email platforms (eg Braze, ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud or others) is needed.
  • Understanding of using profile and behavioural data to create segmentation for subsequent targeting and personalisation of campaigns and activity is needed.
  • Comfortable using data and research to derive results and insights from key activities to draw conclusions about performance.
  • Practical experience with with SEO and paid media, including familiarity with Google and Meta tools to run paid media campaigns, is a bonus
  • Experience with managing content through content management systems is also a plus.
  • Working well in a team environment is key, as are clear communication skills.
