• Taking a community development approach to delivering culturally appropriate health promotion, such as through our Healthy Active Learning programme delivered in education settings;
• Working collaboratively with other relevant health providers and communities to identify and address health priorities;
• Developing and implementing health promotion strategies based on the identified community needs;
• Building and maintaining trusted relationships with communities and external health agencies.
• Strengthening community action to support the health and wellbeing aspirations of education settings.

Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and Experience

Your skills will include:

• Health promotion experience along with experience working with community development is highly desirable;
• Health promotion qualification is advantageous;
• An understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its application to working with communities to promote health and wellbeing;
• A NZ  full driver’s license.
