Electrical & Instrumentation Contracting Services Limited (EiCS) is an established electrical company that specialises in providing electrical and instrumentation maintenance and installation and instrument calibration services to its clients, predominantly based in South Auckland.

We are looking for a confident, communicative Industrial Electrician with a strong customer focus who prides themselves on maintaining high-quality trade standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong interest in control systems and instrumentation, as there will be a lot of exposure to this.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Complete scheduled electrical and instrumentation maintenance tasks such as assembling electrical control panels, wiring machine systems, and testing electrical systems
• Maintain accurate records such as timesheets, maintenance records and re-work reporting
• Assist with fault finding and provide improvement actions to eliminate inefficiencies and re-work recommendations
• Attendance of breakdowns
• Planning minor projects
• Install new plant/ equipment/ machines
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders on site and ensuring all company and client procedures are followed
• Comply with industry best practices and complete tasks accurately with company standards on time and within budget.

About you:

• A minimum of 5 years of work experience as a commercial/industrial Electrician
• Strong work ethic with excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer focus with the ability to collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds
• Sound ability to read drawings, plans and schematics.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and high standard of workmanship
• Effective time management skills
• Outstanding health and safety attitude and record with the ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Experience in industrial maintenance would be beneficial
• Current EWRB Practising licence
• Clean, current Full NZ Drivers Licence
