Kaiwhakahaere Ratonga

Our Kaiwhakahaere Ratonga | Service Manager will have a deep and meaningful impact on our organisation and kaimahi.

Leading the delivery of Te Kete Hauora’s health and social services functions, you bring your passion, wisdom and drive to create responsive and effective services which uphold the tikanga and kawa of Rangitāne o Tamaki hui-ā-Rua and promote whānau ora. Central to this is your ability to understand and connect services with kaupapa Māori models of practice.

As a leader, you will have a deep understanding of yourself that enables you to connect with and lead others, creating collaborative and empowered teams where capability and development are central to your shared success.

Operationally, you know what is needed to effectively manage both budget and organisational risk. You will also bring experience of managing contracts with local and central Government agencies and relevant reporting requirements.

As an experienced people leader in a similar service delivery role in a health and social services environment, we want you to bring these capabilities as we strive to constantly improve and set the benchmark of how to support our whanau and community. This experience is underpinned by relevant health / social service and management qualifications.

Understanding Rangitānetanga, Te Reo me ōna Tikanga is important to our kaupapa. If you are not confident in your knowledge and skills in these areas, we encourage you to discuss this with us anyway. What is essential is an acceptance, respectfulness, and willingness to grow your knowledge and understanding as part of our organisation.

On a very practical level, you’ll need to have a current NZ Driver’s Licence, relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, as well as current registration with appropriate professional association, current authorisation from a relevant regulatory / governing body, and a Core Worker Safety Check.
