Lead Data Analyst, Te Pae Tawhiti

We’re seeking a Lead Data Analyst to join our Employment portfolio within Service Delivery.

 
In the Employment Portfolio we strive to ensure New Zealanders are supported to prepare for, find, and sustain suitable employment.

You will:

 
Contribute to the delivery of meaningful change – lead the data approach for a project. This includes understanding data needs of stakeholders, defining requirements, and designing protocols for preparing, migrating, and integrating data across multiple systems that align to the enterprise data model and standards. 


Collaborate with different people across MSD – The Lead Data Analyst will work with the enterprise and solution architects, General Manager Client and Business Intelligence, General Manager Data Strategy Transformation, Manager Data Science & Products and Delivery Lead’s to build and deploy high-value solutions to support the project outcomes.


Help solve business problems – This role is responsible for understanding and designing innovative solutions to complex information and data problems. 

 

Identify the most appropriate data methods and tools to be employed in the project data approach – Can you do this in a way that is easily understood? Do you have the ability to translate information and analysis into outputs that are easity understood by non-technical people.

 

 

You will bring:


• The ability to apply complex data into COTs products
• Extensive experience analysing data
• Experience working with large scale data warehouse solutions and in cloud environments
• Ability to work with ambiguity
• An understanding of applying local and global Taxonomies in solutions
• A willingness to embed Te Ao Māori into BAU

Position Description

 

Salary range: $120,870.00 - $150,416.00
