We have some exciting Library & Council Services Assistant opportunities within the Rodney North Local Board.
He angitūtanga: The opportunity
Ngā Pātaka Kōrero o Tāmaki Makaurau (Auckland Libraries) have a strong community focus and we are an extraordinary destination for the people of Auckland. Our Library & Council Service Assistant play a vital part within our library team ensuring that our libraries within the Rodney North local board, provide a world-class customer experience that is second to none.
No two days are the same, you will greet and assist customers with a variety of queries from assisting customers to access library & council services, supporting with the delivery of programmes and events, digital troubleshooting, Wi-Fi, and general computer queries.
Many of our libraries are open 7 days a week so flexibility around working days, including weekends and late nights, is required. We are looking for 2 people for permanent part time opportunities at Mahurangi East. Work hours available below:
It is essential that you have the flexibility to work across all of our location within the Hibiscus & Bays North local board, this includes the following libraries: Mahurangi East Library, Warkworth War Memorial Library, and Wellsford War Memorial Library
