Due to internal growth, we are looking to fill multiple positions in our Logistics/Despatch Team, based in our New Lynn location. Working for the World Leader in Cable Manufacturing, you will support our Oceania operations in ensuring some of NZ's biggest providers in energy and telecom are serviced in full and on time (with the highest Industry standards in Safety & Quality). Whether you're a seasoned warehouse professional or new to the industry - you should apply as we're reviewing all applications and interviewing immediately!

Immediate start for the right candidates (multiple positions going).

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Supporting our logistics/despatch team to pick and prepare our cables to be shipped around NZ in a safe and timely manner, maintaining product quality
  • Following safe and standard operating procedures in forklift and load lifting, transport and storage
  • Working with the broader team and liaising between departments in the Logistics team for information/support

You may have some if not all of the following (or be motivated to learn):

  • Sound literacy and numeracy skills to be able to rad picking sheets, order information and count stock effectively
  • Be a team player and self motivated when working unsupervised
  • Be reliable with a good worth ethic (and know the power of one in letting the team down when you're not around)
  • Be open to performing a pre-employment medical including drug/alcohol screen as a condition of employment with Prysmian Group
