He angitūtanga: The opportunity 

The Manager, Café Operations will lead and deliver the Café Operations delivery team across Tātaki Auckland Unlimited venues, focusing on delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and customers, ensuring excellent customer service and experience balanced with commercial bottom line outcomes.

The role includes financial and reporting management, procurement and system and process management. You will be responsible for providing effective research, analysis, and interpretation of business best practice in the food and beverage industry including financial performance and delivering to customer expectations and requirements. 

You will contribute, audit, identify, implement, and support the recruitment, training, and development needs of the Cafe Operations team, while improving staff performance, event procedures and working collaboratively with all departments and suppliers to deliver efficient and safe operations throughout any Tātaki Auckland Unlimited venues and precincts.

He kōrero mōu: About you

We are looking for a focused and dynamic person with strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills; comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage industry, and minimum 3-5 years in a similar role.Business acumen is essential, along with strong analytical and reporting skills, and the ability to manage costs through peeks and drops within the business. Experience in multi-site stock and inventory management and control and managing large supply relationships would be highly beneficial.

You will have vibrant customer skills, be innovative and up to date with market trends, and have a passion for leading others, including experience in developing and coaching teams, and performance management.
