Job Description - Account Support Officer

Job description:


Bristol-Myers Squibb is seeking a dedicated and reliable Account Support Officer to join our team in Hamilton, Waikato, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the Account Support Officer will play a crucial role in providing support to our sales team and ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts.


Responsibilities: 1. Provide direct support to the account management team in the Hamilton office. 2. Assist in the preparation of sales reports, presentations, and proposals. 3. Manage and update customer information in the company database. 4. Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. 5. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers. 6. Assist in the organization and execution of sales events and promotions. 7. Identify opportunities for business growth and improvement within existing accounts. 8. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and objectives. 9. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors to provide insights and recommendations.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales support or customer service role. 3. Strong time management and planning skills. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 5. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software. 6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
