Call Center Assistant - Work from home

Job Description:

Farmers Insurance Exchange is currently seeking a Call Center Assistant to join our team in Nelson, NZ. This is a full-time position that offers the flexibility of working from home. This is an entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in a customer service or call center environment.

Responsibilities: - Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a professional manner - Provide information about insurance policies and services - Process customer policy changes and update customer information in the database - Assist customers with claims and escalate issues as needed - Collaborate with team members to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Keep accurate records of interactions with customers - Meet and exceed performance goals set by the management team

Requirements: - Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Resilient and adaptable to changing situations - Problem-solving skills and the ability to manage difficult customers - Proficient in using computer software and digital communication tools - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is preferred
