Call Center Representative

Job Description:

PPG Industries is seeking a dedicated and hardworking Call Center Representative to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls to assist customers with inquiries, provide information about products and services, and resolve any issues or complaints.

Responsibilities: 1. Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally. 2. Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, sales opportunities, and customer feedback. 3. Provide accurate information about products and services, pricing, and promotions. 4. Assist customers with placing orders, tracking shipments, and processing returns or exchanges. 5. Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and effective manner. 6. Document all customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the database. 7. Meet and exceed performance metrics, including call handling time, customer satisfaction, and sales targets. 8. Collaborate with other departments to address customer needs and improve overall customer experience. 9. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends. 10. Maintain a positive attitude and uphold the company's values and principles in every customer interaction.

Requirements: 1. At least 1 year of experience in a call center or customer service role. 2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with customers over the phone. 3. Strong persuasion skills and the ability to influence customer behavior and promote products. 4. Attention to detail and the ability to accurately enter and maintain data in a CRM system. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines under pressure. 6. High school diploma or equivalent education. 7. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with CRM software. 8. Must be a team player and willing to collaborate with colleagues to achieve common goals.
