Job Description - Chat Support Specialist


Job Description: Nationwide is seeking a passionate and motivated Chat Support Specialist to join our team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, NZ. As an Entry Level Chat Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service through chat support channels. This role requires effective communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong dedication to customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer queries and provide solutions via chat support - Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner - Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers - Collaborate with other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience - Meet or exceed performance metrics for response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction - Continuously improve product knowledge to better assist customers - Provide feedback to management on customer pain points and areas for improvement


Requirements: - 1 year of experience in a customer service or support role - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Strong persuasion and cooperation skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment - Basic computer skills and proficiency in chat support tools - Passion for helping customers and providing exceptional service - Motivated self-starter with a positive attitude
