Job Description - Contact Center Specialist

General Mills is seeking a passionate and motivated individual to join our team as a Contact Center Specialist in Auckland, New Zealand. This is an entry-level position with the opportunity for growth and advancement within the organization.


Responsibilities: 1. Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers regarding product inquiries, orders, complaints, and general assistance. 2. Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction. 3. Process orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures. 4. Collaborate with other departments to escalate and resolve complex customer issues. 5. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, services, and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. 6. Document customer interactions and feedback in the system for future reference and analysis. 7. Assist with special projects and initiatives as needed to support the contact center team.


Requirements: 1. 1 year of experience in a customer service or contact center role preferred. 2. Strong communication skills and ability to actively listen and empathize with customers. 3. Ability to think strategically and innovate solutions to improve customer experience. 4. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 5. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications and CRM software. 6. Must be a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow. 7. Must be eligible to work in New Zealand and possess a valid work visa.
