Job Description - Remote Customer Service Assistant

Job Description: CMS Energy is seeking a Remote Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Napier, Hawke's Bay, NZ. This is a full-time, entry-level position ideal for individuals with at least 1 year of experience in customer service. As a Remote Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, helping to resolve any issues they may have in a timely and professional manner.


Responsibilities: - Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat - Providing information about products and services - Resolving customer complaints and issues - Processing orders and returns - Maintaining customer records and databases - Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction - Meeting or exceeding customer service metrics and goals - Continuously seeking ways to improve the customer experience


Requirements: - Motivated and energetic personality traits - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Ability to negotiate and de-escalate difficult situations - Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities - Proficiency with computer systems and customer service software - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends - High school diploma or equivalent
