Job Description - Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:


Hess, a leading company in Wellington, NZ, is seeking a skilled Customer Service Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis. As an Associate Level position, we are looking for individuals with at least 4 years of experience in customer service roles.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person. 2. Handle and resolve customer complaints in a professional and efficient manner. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and in a timely manner. 4. Provide product information and pricing to customers. 5. Assist customers with any product or service-related questions. 6. Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively assist customers. 7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. 8. Keep accurate records of customer interactions and transactions. 9. Continuously seek opportunities to improve customer service processes.


Requirements: 1. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor. 2. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 3. Energetic and positive attitude towards customer interactions. 4. Proven negotiation skills and ability to lead customer interactions. 5. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. 6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. 7. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. 8. Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment. 9. High school diploma or equivalent.
