Job Description - Customer Service Assistant

Job Description:


Sempra Energy is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our team in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a customer service role, be independent, and driven. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, handling inquiries and resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner.


Responsibilities: - Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person - Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions - Processing orders and managing customer accounts - Assisting with billing and invoicing - Maintaining a high level of product knowledge to answer customer questions effectively - Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers - Working closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction - Providing feedback to management on customer trends and issues - Participating in training and development programs to improve customer service skills


Requirements: - 2 years of experience in a customer service role - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong presentation and persuasion skills - Knowledge of CRM systems is a plus - High school diploma or equivalent - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
