Job Description - Customer Service Specialist

Job Description:


We are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to join our team at Parker-Hannifin in Dunedin, Otago, NZ. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.


Responsibilities: - Answering incoming calls and emails from customers, providing assistance and information as needed - Processing orders, tracking shipments, and handling returns or exchanges - Resolving customer complaints and escalating issues to the appropriate departments when necessary - Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business - Communicating and coordinating with other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience - Providing feedback to management on ways to improve customer satisfaction and retention - Staying up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to better assist customers


Requirements: - 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field - Confident and independent personality traits - Adaptability and strong planning skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other customer service software - High school diploma or equivalent
