Online Call Center Specialist

Job Description:

American Electric Power is seeking a full-time Online Call Center Specialist to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This position is at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities: 1. Handle incoming calls from customers regarding inquiries, complaints, and technical issues. 2. Provide exceptional customer service by resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. 3. Utilize online tools and resources to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns. 4. Meet or exceed performance metrics related to call quality, resolution time, and customer satisfaction. 5. Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge and best practices. 6. Document all customer interactions accurately and timely in the company database. 7. Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and company policies to provide accurate information to customers. 8. Assist in training new team members as needed.

Requirements: 1. Driven and confident personality traits to effectively communicate with customers. 2. Strong planning and creativity skills to problem-solve and provide innovative solutions. 3. Previous experience in a call center or customer service role is required. 4. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 6. Proficiency in using online tools and resources for troubleshooting. 7. High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred.
