Online Contact Center Assistant

Trade Me is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Online Contact Center Assistant to join our team in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. As an Associate Level role, the ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities: - Act as the first point of contact for all online customer inquiries via various channels such as email, chat, and social media. - Provide exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries promptly and accurately. - Resolve customer issues and complaints in a timely manner, escalating to a supervisor when necessary. - Assist in processing orders, returns, and exchanges for online purchases. - Collaborate with other departments to address customer concerns and provide feedback for process improvement. - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.

Requirements: - Energetic and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical skills to understand customer needs and provide effective solutions. - Ability to work well in a team environment, supporting colleagues and collaborating on projects. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - Proficient in using online platforms and customer service software. - High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications are a plus.
