Job Description - Online Contact Center Representative

Job Description: AutoZone is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Online Contact Center Representative to join our team in Nelson, New Zealand. As an Associate Level representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support through various online channels, including chat, email, and social media. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance with their automotive needs, product inquiries, and order placements.


Responsibilities: 1. Respond to customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner. 2. Provide product information, recommendations, and solutions to customer issues. 3. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently. 4. Utilize effective negotiation and persuasion skills to upsell products and services. 5. Coordinate with other departments to resolve complex customer issues. 6. Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records in the database. 7. Continuously strive to meet and exceed customer satisfaction targets. 8. Stay up to date on industry trends and product knowledge to better assist customers.


Requirements: 1. Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or a related field. 2. Resilient and passionate mindset with a dedication to delivering exceptional service. 3. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to drive sales and handle customer objections. 4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively. 6. Proficiency in using online chat platforms, email systems, and CRM software. 7. High attention to detail and accuracy in processing customer orders. 8. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
