Job Description - Product Marketing Manager

Join a fast-growing and successful SaaS business with a strong presence in the New Zealand and Australian markets. Talent Army is seeking a talented Product Marketing Manager to spearhead their expansion into North America. About the Role:
The Product Marketing Manager will play a critical role within the Marketing team, collaborating closely with product and marketing teams to drive global growth. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing, this role will focus on launching new products and features, with a primary emphasis on entering the North American market. This position requires a versatile skill set encompassing strategy development, execution, and delivery. The successful candidate will lead go-to-market activities from planning through to implementation, working collaboratively with the dynamic marketing team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Research:

    • Gather market intelligence to understand potential customers, including their behaviors and purchasing patterns.
    • Establish and maintain feedback loops with international market stakeholders, informing product development and marketing strategies.
  • Positioning:

    • Develop compelling product positioning and messaging tailored specifically for the Canadian market, setting the company apart from competitors.
    • Collaborate closely with marketing, product management, and design teams to refine and effectively communicate our market position.
  • Go-to-Market:

    • Design strategic go-to-market plans for new products and features, driving awareness, demand, and adoption in the North American market.
    • Execute marketing campaigns and tactics to promote the product effectively, ensuring alignment with market needs and trends.
    • Own the creation and delivery of marketing materials to support product releases, including website content, landing pages, and email campaigns.
  • Collaboration:

    • Provide general marketing support for the international market, including copywriting, event coordination, and website management.
    • Collaborate closely with the in-market sales team to activate sales initiatives effectively.
Role Requirements:

  • Full-time role, ideally suited for regular in-person collaboration, with flexibility for remote work.
  • 3-5 years of experience in product marketing or related fields, preferably in B2B SaaS, the Canadian market, or the education sector.
  • Must have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
