Job Description - Remote Support Assistant

Job Description:


GameStop is seeking a motivated and confident Remote Support Assistant to join our team in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As a Remote Support Assistant at GameStop, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers remotely. This is a full-time position at the Associate Level, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.


Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support remotely via phone, email, or chat - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with hardware and software - Provide guidance and assistance to customers with product setup and usage - Document customer interactions and resolutions in our CRM system - Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and effective support for customers - Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate information to customers - Assist in the development and implementation of support processes and procedures


Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a technical support role - Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical customers - Strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively - Flexibility to work remotely and occasionally outside of regular business hours - Motivated and confident personality with a passion for customer service - Experience with project management tools and software is a plus
