Job Description - Support Specialist

Job Description:


United Continental Holdings is seeking a Support Specialist to join our team in Auckland, NZ. As a Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing operational and technical support to internal and external stakeholders. You will assist with resolving issues, managing projects, and ensuring smooth operations within the organization.


Responsibilities: - Provide support to end users on technical issues and incidents - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex problems - Assist in the implementation and optimization of systems and processes - Conduct training sessions for employees on new technologies and tools - Manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring deadlines are met - Monitor and maintain system performance and security - Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve operational efficiency - Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members - Document processes and procedures for future reference


Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field - 4 years of experience in a technical support role - Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Reliable and motivated with a strong work ethic - Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
