Job Description - Web Chat Manager

Citigroup is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Web Chat Manager in Christchurch, Canterbury, NZ. As an Associate Level position, the ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role and possess a strong drive and passion for delivering exceptional customer service.


Responsibilities: 1. Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the web chat team, ensuring timely responses to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. 2. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the web chat service, including training programs for team members. 3. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate the team's performance and identify areas for improvement. 4. Collaborate with other departments within the organization to communicate customer feedback and implement solutions to enhance the overall customer experience. 5. Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to help them succeed in their roles. 6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in web chat management to continuously improve processes and deliver results.


Requirements: 1. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience. 2. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills. 3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. 4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. 5. Proficiency in web chat software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
