The Role: Reporting to the Field Services Manager, you’ll be the central point of communication for the Operations team for work order and project resourcing. You’ll be responsible for coordinating resource planning and service scheduling to ensure the flow of labour, plant and operations supporting the delivery of our mechanical maintenance and refurbishment jobs on hydropower and geothermal power generation sites. We offer a strong pipeline of work, a diverse range of projects and a great team of trades and engineering professionals. In this role, you’ll be responsible for both resource facilitation and business support for your teams. By maintaining a business wide view of our projects, regular communications with Site Supervisors and monitoring capacity planning you’ll ensure labour and resources are utilized effectively. From onboarding and offboarding of team members and contractors, creating the templates and rosters, through to assisting with timesheeting and work order labour costings, you’ll support your team to perform efficiently. About You: Previous experience in heavy industry, maintenance servicing or manufacturing is needed to support our teams with their technically planned work. With a focus on process efficiency, you’ll be adept with using integrated finance/resource planning software. If you describe yourself as a proactive communicator able to pull together a variety of people in a results-driven environment, then you’ll be in your element here. You’ll be able to extract and interpret work-related information from your team to ensure nothing is missed when it comes to job resourcing, plant maintenance/repair and job costing. In addition, you’ll have a strong client-centric approach, financial understanding, and outstanding planning skills. You’ll have a solution mindset and be a proven team player willing to help out as needed to achieve team goals. This role is primarily office based, from our Wairakei site, however with the majority of our projects happening all around us, there will likely be opportunities to get out on site.
