Restaurant Manager | Auckland

Brand new restaurant opening in the heart of Auckland's Viaduct - an extension of an Auckland favourite in the casual fine dining space!

Our Client: Is a modern eating that offers their clientele fine dining quality food and service in a relaxed, fun and sun soaked location on Auckland's Viaduct. Due to their increasing popularity over the more recent years they have occupied the site next to them to offer a complimentary restaurant and bar to cater to their daily demand. This new restaurant will focus on high quality beverages, sharing plates (small and large) and a comfortable environment. The role: Is a newly created position of Restaurant Manager with a key focus on people & operations. It will require someone with comprehensive food and beverage experience in premium / high end restaurants to add immediate value to the new team to ensure a high service offering is provided to their customers. What you can expect:

-a key focus on training & development of your team is critical to the success of this role 
-to take ownership of the FOH function whilst working collaboratively with the Head Chef and BOH team 
-build, foster and drive a high performing, fun and engaging culture 
-to be on the floor leading from the front, interacting and engaging with customers and your FOH team 
-be the face of the restaurant, be the person regulars ask for What experience you will bring: -Experience leading a FOH team of 5+ in a premium, high end or fine dining establishment 
-A wealth of knowledge when it comes to understanding the beauty of beverages & food 
-Proven experience providing hands on and continuous training to team members
-A passion for hospitality and working on the floor being in the thick of it 
-A valid Managers Certificate / LCQ Licence What you will be rewarded with: -$75k + per annum (experience dependant)
