Ko tō tūranga – your role

Our Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing technical and business requirements by working closely with our Tribes and the wider Vodafone NZ Business Units to understand their needs as well as understanding the broader environment in a rapidly growing Tech/SaaS business.

 

Our Senior Business Analyst will take ownership of end-to-end elicitation and design of requirements and processes enabling high quality, fit-for-purpose solutions. This role will be pivotal in delivering awesome outcomes for our customers through partnering with the business and promoting BA best practice standards and tools!

Ko tō mahi – what you’ll do

• Lead discovery workshops and having the ability to work closely with Technical & Business teams, managing stakeholders
• Gather and analysing business requirements and technical specifications
• Effectively managing deliverables across the full technology lifecycle.
• Identify, develop, and implement business and process improvements.
• Embed key customer experience considerations early in the project lifecycle.

Na tōu rourou - what you’ll bring

The ideal candidate will have experience in both business analysis and technical fields, with a strong understanding of platforms, integration, and cloud technologies. Knowledge in Digital is also an asset.

 

The ideal candidate will also have;

 

• Extensive experience as a business analyst, with experience in both technical and business domains.
• Experience in payments, credit and/or digital and communications
• Strong technical knowledge, including experience with software development methodologies and technologies, as well as platforms, integration, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, including ability to present to executive audience.
• Practical and applied experience in multiple BA requirements gathering tools, process mapping etc.
• Excellent relationship, facilitation, and communication skills - ability to lead, influence and secure the right outcomes for the customer in a highly complex environment including ability to present to executive audience.
