He angitūtanga: The opportunity
We're hiring for a proactive ICT Infrastructure Service Lead to drive ICT project implementation, champion quality standards and add value maximization. In this role, you'll provide crucial technical expertise during business case development and project planning, identifying best solutions and strategies aligned with our IS standards. You will be overseeing all project phases, from evaluation and testing to operational trial (to ensure industry best practices and trends are integrated for enhanced systems performance) and delivery process, which includes coordinating with vendors for successful execution and handover to production support teams.
Additionally, your role involves project management for minor infrastructure projects, contributing to policy development, and identifying initiatives for cost control and ICT value maximization. As a Level 4 escalation point, you'll investigate major incidents and offer support outside regular hours, fostering knowledge sharing and effective communication among stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Microsoft technologies, notably in Active Directory, Exchange, and Security domains, and proficiency in M365, Azure, and AWS platforms. With over a decade of IT tenure, you should demonstrate exceptional technical capabilities in core infrastructure management, spanning network, computer, telephony, storage, and application infrastructure. We are also looking for people that can leverage system management and automated provisioning technologies such as SCCM, vRA vRO, and Orchestration, plus have a proven track record in policy development and implementation within complex organizations.
Furthermore, it's crucial to be skilled in analyzing, handling, and putting into action IT solutions across various technologies, especially in complex situations. Plus, you need to show that you're good at securing applications, servers, and networks, and have practical know-how with tools like Fortinet, Cisco, SAN, and virtualization tech. Having certifications like VCP, MCSE, CCNA, and CCDP, along with a relevant degree or industry certification is critical in this role.
