Job Description:
Norfolk Southern is seeking a talented and motivated Support Associate to join our team in a remote work capacity based in Wellington, NZ. As a Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing technical and operational support to our clients and internal teams. This position is at the Associate Level and requires a minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
Responsibilities: - Provide troubleshooting assistance to clients via phone, email, or chat - Monitor and resolve technical issues related to software, hardware, and network systems - Collaborate with internal teams to escalate and resolve complex issues in a timely manner - Assist in testing and implementing software updates and new features - Document all support interactions and resolutions accurately in the company database - Provide training and support to clients on how to effectively use company products and services - Stay current on industry trends and advancements to provide the best support possible - Assist in the development of support resources such as knowledge base articles and tutorials
Requirements: - Confident and adaptable personality traits - 4+ years of experience in a technical support role - Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Ability to effectively communicate and persuade clients and internal stakeholders - Proficiency in using remote support tools and software - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred - Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment - Flexibility to work non-traditional hours as needed
