We have two part-time Support Worker roles available working at our Family Centre. This is a 10-bed residential facility for parents with accompanying children, located on a six-acre park-like site in West Auckland. You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team that provides treatment and support in partnership with clients/tāngata whai ora (people seeking wellness) and their whānau.
Both positions work rostered shifts as follows:
1. Support Worker (24 hours per week)
Monday: 7.45 am - 3.45 pm
Friday: 2.15 pm - 10.15 pm
Saturday: 10 am - 6 pm
2. Support Worker (16 hours per week):
Saturday and Sunday: 2.15 pm to 10.15 pm
Our ideal candidates will have:
1+ years’ experience working in a social services, addictions or mental health care setting (as a Supporter Worker or a similar role)
A certificate (L4) in Health and Care, or a willingness to work towards this (with organisational support)
A sense of humour and strong people skills
An interest in Māori tikanga and Pacific customs and culture
Full NZ driver’s license
