Theatre Nurse - Team Lead

About the role:
With a passion for leadership, and strong clinical experience you will be the ‘go to’ person for General and Head & Neck theatres. This will be a great first step in to leadership as you will have lots of support in this role from both the charge nurse and theatre manager. Working full time, Mon-Fri you will be responsible for the resourcing and procurement of both staff and equipment.

What you have to do:

Co-ordinate the delivery of high quality patient care & customer services

Help lead and manage a high performing team

Provide resourcing and procurement of both staff and equipment

Participate in operational activities to support financial and business goals

Build strong relationships with patients, their families and key internal & external stakeholders.

Skills and Experience:

NZ Registered Nurse with current Annual Practicing Certificate/APC

Excellent perioperative skill and knowledge in orthopaedics

Strong coordination and delegation skills-think on your feet

Good interpersonal and leadership skills that inspire the trust and confidence in your team

Proven ability to work collaboratively with peers and superiors and the wider teams
