Web Chat Representative - Remote Work

Job Description:

Sempra Energy is seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Web Chat Representative to join our remote team in Wellington, New Zealand. As an Associate Level Web Chat Representative, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support through online chat platforms.

Responsibilities: - Respond to customer inquiries and provide solutions in a timely manner through web chat - Troubleshoot technical issues and guide customers through problem-solving steps - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to escalate complex issues when necessary - Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions - Stay informed about product updates and changes to provide accurate information to customers - Meet established KPIs for chat response times, customer satisfaction, and resolution rates - Proactively identify opportunities for improving customer experience and operational efficiency

Requirements: - 4 years of experience in customer service or technical support role - Strong communication skills and ability to multitask effectively - Hardworking attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to meet customer needs - Resourceful problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically - Attention to detail and ability to accurately document customer interactions - Proficiency in using chat platforms and online communication tools - Ability to work independently in a remote environment - High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
