Accounts Payable Officer

The Company

My client is a large private education provider with a long history in Auckland. They provide education for students from kindergarten age up to year 13. Their offices are located on campus in Rosedale close to public transport links with easy access to the motorway. This role is to join on a 3-month contract that could go longer.

The Role

In this role you will be reporting into the Financial Controller and will be responsible for the Accounts Payable function. You will be critical to the success of the wider finance team and your responsibilities will include:

• Invoice Processing
• Supplier reconciliation
• Weekly and monthly payment runs
• FX payments - SGD, AUD, GBP, USD
• Fixed assets maintenance
• Ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Experience

To be considered for this role, we are looking for an experience Accounts payable person who has the following attributes:

• Can handle high volumes of Accounts payable
• Likes to take ownership
• Organised
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Superb communication skills
