About the Role:

As a caregiver at BestStart, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young children, providing them with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. We believe in fostering a love for learning, creativity, and exploration in our tamariki. 

At BestStart, we value our caregivers and provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities. Reporting to our Centre Manager and working within a close-knit team you will be joining a dedicated team of Teachers who provide quality care and education to our tamariki.

Here’s what you’ll do on a day-to day basis:

• Provide amazing care and education to our tamariki
• Champion the team spirit and engage in activities that empower and extend tamariki’s learning
• Fully participate in centre activities across all classrooms and cover staff breaks where necessary
• Support centre operations at all levels 

Role requirements:

Commit to making a difference in the lives of young learners with a team dedicated to excellence. An ECE qualification is not required for this role, but a natural affinity with children – especially infants and toddlers, and experience working with children under five is a must. You’ll also have a high level of initiative and an ability to take direction from others.
