An established, growing company in Wanaka is looking for an IT Support Analyst / Junior SysAdmin to help trouble-shoot & solve problems for users with a smile :-) You’ll also help on the SysAdmin side with servers, networks and have a security focus


Good basic Microsoft Windows knowledge including 365? Good, friendly communication skills to answer the phone & help users?


Have excellent written & verbal English to be able to deal with non-technical users and be hands-on with desktop support & hardware issues



What you’ll bring:

• BSc in Computer Science or BEng, BCom, BA or similar degree
• At least 2 years+ commercial Microsoft Windows (365/Azure) experience working in 1st /2nd line support - desktop support experience
• Experience with Google workspace of interest
• SysAdmin experience with Microsoft365
• Basic experience with Windows servers, networks and monitoring systems a bonus or happy to learn?
• Happy to learn in-house software applications and support these
• Good understanding of security (phishing etc) and how to educate users
• Good communication skills both written & verbal
• Happy to pick up the phone & help users
• 2nd line support ie cabling & desktop / hardware support
• Great attitude & positive approach
• Enjoy solving technical problems
• Good written English & documentation skills
