The primary responsibility of this role is to create the best learning environment to allow students to learn, grow and succeed. They will provide high quality teaching and learning on a range of courses, provide tutorial, mentoring and pastoral support.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and design learning experiences including designing, creating, and delivering sessions, workshops, and demos
- Deliver engaging and interactive learning experiences for the assigned programmes
- Coach, guide, and mentor our students to become successful professionals
- Provide pastoral care to ensure students feel supported and guided to succeed
- Manage and coordinate industry mentors for each career accelerator
- Manage industry project sponsor’s expectations and student expectations during the on-site applied learning project phase
- Assess student work in accordance with the Mission Ready QMS, standards, guidelines and provide constructive feedback to support candidates to become successful
- Comply with all policies and procedures and support the rest of the team to provide advice and guidance to improve overall performance
- Capture and report student performance and outcomes in accordance with Mission Ready guidelines
- Stay current by reading widely, consulting with project sponsors and publishing relevant blogs and articles
Successful Candidates will have:
Passion for tech trends and an interest for new ways of working in tech – be it agile, design thinking, hackathons or you tell us!
Most importantly, has boundless energy and care for people and a knack for breaking down complex topics and transferring know how in simple language
Required skills, qualifications and experience:
- Relevant qualification/ professional certification in UX Design or Tech industry experience of a minimum of two years as a UX Designer
- A high level of proficiency using design and prototyping with tools such as Figma
- Growth mindset, agile mindset and design thinking methodology is a must have
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skill
- Previous training experience in industry or education necessary
