What is the ServiceNow NextGen Professionals Program?
We make the world work by providing opportunities for all. We break down traditional barriers to entry into the ServiceNow job market by empowering people with the skills of tomorrow.
NextGen supports underrepresented groups with a focus on racial equity, gender equity, and ending generational poverty. NextGen programs include ServiceNow technical and career skills training, hands-on projects, on demand learning, and guest speakers. - Virtual and full-time, Monday through Friday for 10 weeks
- No cost to the participant
- Currently only available in specific countries
- Employment cannot be guaranteed; however, we provide the tools for a successful job search in addition to recruiting and community events
Eligibility
NextGen serves populations that have been traditionally marginalized from the field of technology. Our pillars are racial equity, gender equity, and ending generational poverty. Anyone admitted into our program must identify with one of these pillars
- Ability to commit FULL TIME, 9 am-5 pm, Monday-Friday for the full 10 weeks
- New to ServiceNow: have never taken a class (except for self-initiated free training on Now Learning), worked on the platform, or received a ServiceNow certification
- Ability to pass a Digital Literacy Assessment AND Welcome to ServiceNow course and micro-certification
- Have access to a computer or laptop with a reliable internet connection for the duration of the program. The program cannot be completed on a cell phone
- Eligible to work full-time in the country you are seeking employment without sponsorship. This does not include a student visa or a temporary residency visa
- Fluent and fully proficient in English, both written and verbal
- High school education or equivalent AND 3+ years work experience OR a two-year degree or higher OR completed coding bootcamp AND 2 years work experience
- 18 years or older
- Commitment to work and seek employment in the ServiceNow ecosystem after graduation
- Highly motivated to start a career in tech with a growth mindset and commitment to your future and success
- Confidence to translate how your previous experience can positively impact a role in tech

The Application Process

NextGen has a mandate to assist those traditionally marginalized from the field of tech and help them find full time employment within the ServiceNow job market. We do so by focusing on racial equity, gender equity, and ending generational poverty. As such, we will ask questions to ensure that we are serving that intended audience. None of the information submitted will be published or shared outside of ServiceNow in a way that may be connected to your identity. - If you meet the eligibility requirements, you will receive an email to complete a digital literacy assessment.
- After Digital Literacy, you will be asked to complete the online course "Welcome to ServiceNow" and the micro-certification.
- After the micro-certification, your application will be further reviewed and if selected, you will be offered a seat in the next available cohort.
