Nāku Ēnei Tamariki is a community whānau focused organisation committed to uplifting the lives of tamariki and whānau in the Hutt Valley region. We're a compact but energetic team fueled by kaupapa Māori principles.

We provide comprehensive early intervention support to whānau in Te Awakairangi, fostering their holistic well-being and growth to unlock their individual potential within their whānau and wider community.

 Mō te tūnga | About the role

  • Working directly with Whānau and their tamariki

  • Whānau-centered practice

  • Incorporation of Māori values and beliefs into service delivery 

  • Extensive networking and relationship-building with agencies, Māori entities and broader community

  • Proficiency in IT, including computer systems

  • Excellent work ethic

  • Possession of a clean full driver’s license.

Mōu | About you 

  • Background or registered in social work, Health or Education fields or actively pursuing relevant studies.

  • Working knowledge with Tamariki and their whānau

  • Commitment to enhancing Māori well-being and development.
